Long-term disease that leads to inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues. It can also affect other organs.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Lupus

A chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder. It may affect the skin, joints, kidneys, and other organs.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

A long-term disease that causes inflammation of the joints between the spinal bones, and the joints between the spine and pelvis.

Gout

A kind of arthritis that occurs when uric acid builds up in the joints. Acute gout is a painful condition that typically affects one joint.

Sjögren's syndrome

A chronic autoimmune disease in which a person’s white blood cells attack their moisture-producing glands.

Psoriatic Arthritis

Arthritis that is often associated with psoriasis of the skin. The arthritis may be mild and involve only a few joints, particularly those at the end of the fingers or toes.

Polymyalgia Rheumatica

An inflammatory disorder involving pain and stiffness in the hip or shoulder area.

Bursitis

Inflammation of the fluid-filled sac (bursa) that lies between a tendon and skin, or between a tendon and bone.

An inflammation in or around tendons, bands of strong fibrous tissue that holds muscle to bone.

Tendinitis

Osteoarthritis

A general term for a group of uncommon diseases that feature inflammation of the blood vessels.

Common joint disorder where the cushioning (cartilage) between the bones wears away.

Widespread connective tissue disease that involves
changes in the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs.
